What is AOSS and
when would I use it?
AOSS stands for Air Station One-Touch Secure System. It is a proprietary method
of security that automatically configures the SSID and WEP key for wireless
routers made by Buffalo Technology and a wireless device connecting to it. You
can use the AOSS setup method with any AOSS compatible router. AOSS capable
routers will have a button on the router identified with the letters "AOSS." Review
the documentation for your router to verify if it is AOSS capable before continuing
with your setup.

I set up
the DS with AOSS and now none of my other devices are able
to connect wirelessly?
When using the AOSS feature of a router to setup the Nintendo DS, AOSS will
change some of the settings of your router to match the required settings of
the Nintendo DS. In order for you other devices to connect wirelessly, you will
need to change the settings of your other wireless devices to match the new
settings of the router. The main setting you will want to check is the security
setting. The AOSS feature will create a WEP key that the DS will use. This WEP
key will need to be entered in your other wireless devices.
