Virtual Boy Sound Troubleshooting

  1. Try adjusting the Virtual Boy's volume dial found on the bottom-left area of the main unit.

  2. Remove any headphones that you have plugged into the Virtual Boy to see if sound comes out of the speakers.

    If the problem occurs only with the headphones, make sure headphones are securely inserted.

  3. On some games, the sound may begin only after the START button is pressed and you are playing the game.
  4. If there is no image and the music plays slowly, the mirrors may be knocked out of synchronization. Reset the Virtual Boy.
