Connecting the Game Boy Advance or Game Boy micro Wireless Adapter

1. Make sure the Game Boy Advance or Game Boy micro system is turned off.
2. Insert the wireless adapter into the EXT port of the system, and push down until you can hear it click into place.

3. Make sure both sides of the adapter hook into the slots on the sides of the Game Boy Advance system.

Please note that due to the design of the Game Boy Advance SP and the Game Boy micro, it is not possible to have both the a Wireless Adapter, and an AC Adapter inserted at the same time.

4. Insert a game into each Game Boy. (If the game supports multiplayer games using only one game pak, only one player needs to insert the game.)
5. Turn the power switches on all units to ON. Consult the manual for the game you are playing for more information on beginning a multiplayer game.

2. Press inwards on the lock release buttons, towards the middle of the adapter and pull it straight out of the Game Boy Advance.
   
   

1. Make sure the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter is properly connected.
2. Make sure the game you are attempting to use with the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter is compatible. Only games displaying this icon on their packaging are compatible with the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter, with the exception of a select few games (Mario Golf: Advance Tour, and all multiplayer Classic NES games) that were released prior to the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter's release:

3. Consult the individual game's instruction manual for details on using the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter. Because all Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter-compatible games use this feature in different ways, we do not have specific information for setting up a multiplayer game.

   Special Note about compatible Classic NES Series games:
   Multiplayer NES Classic games are compatible with the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter, even though there is no indication on the packaging or in the manual. To start a multiplayer game, press the L and R Buttons at the same time while on the game's start menu. Then select "Linked Play" from the new menu.
